Access and Inclusion Plan (AIP)
The City encourages diversity and is committed to creating an accessible, inclusive and welcoming community for people of all abilities. The Access and Inclusion Plan (AIP) 2022-2027 was endorsed at the Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 28 February 2023 following a public feedback period at the end of 2022.
The AIP outlines how access and inclusion outcomes are incorporated within the City's community programs, services, projects, events and facilities. Including support for people who reside, work, volunteer and/or study in the City. The Plan aims to make the City more liveable for all by addressing, reducing or removing access and inclusion barriers.
Access and inclusion outcome areas
The AIP is aligned to seven legislated outcome areas:
- Access to services and participation at events
- Access to buildings and facilities
- Access to information in appropriate formats
- Quality of service
- Opportunity to make complaints
- Opportunity to participate in public consultation
- Opportunity to access employment and training with the City.
Thank you for providing feedback.
