Cancel animal registration

If your pet has passed away or no longer resides in the City of South Perth, please cancel your animal registration via a request below.

If you are moving and will no longer be living within the City of South Perth boundaries, then you do have the option to retain your dog registration with the City, as long as you are still living within Western Australia
It is preferable for you to transfer that registration to your new local Council as this will ensure a more efficient process if your dog is lost or found
The new local Council will register and honour the existing registration period and issue a new tag. Note, a nominal fee may be applicable
You have seven days to advise the Microchip company of your change in details
Once the transfer is complete, you can cancel your City of South Perth registration via a request below.

If you are moving and will no longer be living within the City of South Perth boundaries, then you MUST transfer the animal registration to your new Council
The new local Council will register and honour the existing registration period and issue a new tag. Note, a nominal fee may be applicable

If your animal has had a change of owner, change of address, a new microchip number or been sterilised, please complete a Change of Details form.
