Rebates

Eligible pensioners and seniors may qualify for a rebate on their Council rates. Rebates or deferments only apply to Rates, Emergency Services Levy (ESL) and, if applicable, Underground Power Network Charge. Other charges such as rubbish, connection fee for the underground power or pool fees are required to be paid in full.

Eligibility for a concession

To receive a concession you must hold one or more of the appropriate concession cards and:

be the owner or co-owner of the property or have a right to reside at the property under the terms of a Will as at 1 July or
occupy the property as your ordinary place of residence

Note: pro-rata rebates may be offered.

Register for a concession

To register for a concession, the City encourages you to apply via the Water Corporation's concession page or alternatively contact the Water Corporation on 1300 659 951. This application will register you with the Water Corporation as well as the City of South Perth via the one form. Once the application is approved by the Water Corporation, it is then forwarded to the City to process the concession on your rates account.
