Urgent requests

  • If the fallen tree, fallen limb or hanging branch is a hazard, please contact the City on 9474 0777 to report your request. You can call this number 24-hours a day for urgent / high priority assistance.  Urgent requests are fallen trees that are:
  • blocking the footpath
  • blocking the roadway
  • blocking a playground facility
  • blocking a public access way
  • blocking the residents driveway or
  • damaging property (e.g. resting on fence/house/vehicle).

Fallen trees/vegetation/limbs

  • The City will assist with removing fallen street and park trees, including fallen vegetation and limbs
  • If possible, please attach a photo showing the fallen tree, limb or hanging branch.

Private trees

  • If the tree is on private property, then please note that this is a civil matter between neighbours
  • The City may require the owner/occupier to prune/remove vegetation overhanging or on the footpath

  • An Officer will investigate within three (3) working days.
