Parks and public places

The City has disposal units located around the City for the safe disposal of syringes. Sometimes syringes are discarded improperly. If you find a syringe in a park or public place, please report it below.

Private property

The City will respond to requests relating to syringes on private property if the location of the syringe poses a risk to the public. Proper disposal of syringes is the responsibility of the individual users.

Syringe disposal

Residents are encouraged to contact their medical professional, hospital or local pharmacy to find out how to safely dispose of syringes and other medical waste.
