Verge licence applications
During building operations, a verge licence is required if the builder intends to store any materials on the verge. During building operations, other than for the placement of goods on the verge for immediate transportation onto the building site, a builder is required to submit an application below as prescribed in the Building Regulations 2012.

Before you begin
Prior to commencing the application via the link below, ensure you have an electronic copy (eg scan) of the following documentation prior to completing the application process:
- A site plan must be submitted with the application, which is to show clearly the portion of the verge to be used, what it will be used for, and include information on any temporary fencing or hoardings.
You will be required to attach this information during the application process.
