Subdivision clearance

After your subdivision has been conditionally approved by the WAPC, you will need to submit a subdivision clearance request and pay the required fee to the City of South Perth to clear any conditions marked 'Local Government'. The City will inspect the property and ensure that the conditions set out by the WAPC have been met to the satisfaction of the City.

Before you begin

Prior to commencing the application via the link below, ensure you have an electronic copy (eg scan) of the following documentation prior to completing the application process:
  • Matrix of conditions detailing how each condition has been cleared (photographs of the completed works are encouraged to be provided as part of this matrix)
  • Copy of the deposited or survey strata plan.
You will be required to attach this information during the application process.

Application attachments

Please ensure you are attaching all plans, materials and supporting information relevant to the application as part of your initial lodgement. Any omissions or additional materials will be required to be sent as separate emails, which will be limited to standard email size limitations (eg 10MB).

Post lodgement process

Once your application is lodged, the following steps will apply:
  • The City will review the conditional approval and assess whether the conditions of the WAPC's determination have been satisfied. This will include a site inspection
  • Should all conditions of the WAPC's determination marked 'Local Government' be satisfied to the satisfaction of the City, the City will prepare and issue a clearance letter and endorse the deposited plan
  • Should the conditions of the WAPC's determination not be met to the satisfaction of the City, a partial clearance may be issued and/or the clearance request may be refused.
