Community Development Grant
The City of South Perth's community development grant assists sporting clubs, community groups and other organisations to undertake eligible projects that provide local community benefits.
Funding limits
The maximum funding amount that may be requested by an applicant each year is $5,000. Funding is available all year round, and applications may be submitted at any time.
Timeframe
Applications must be submitted in full, at least six weeks prior to the project start date.

Before you lodge your grant application
Prior to commencing the application via the link below, please ensure you have read the eligibility assessment criteria outlined in the above grant guidelines and have electronic copies of the following documents:
- Current financial bank statement which displays the account name, number and BSB
- Certificate of currency for public liability insurance
- Other supporting documents (incorporation certificate, letters of support etc.)
You will be required to attach this information during the application process.
Lodgement guidance
Post lodgement process
Once your grant application is lodged, the following steps will apply:
- All applications are assessed by the City against the nominated assessment criteria.
- Applicants will be advised of the outcome in writing by the City approximately four weeks after receiving a completed application. Delays will occur if applications are submitted without all the required information and supporting documents.
- All decisions made by the City of South Perth are final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
