Last updated on: 15 October 2024
Urgent requests
If a tree is directly interfering with power lines, street lights or represents a safety hazard, please contact the City on 9474 0777 to report your request. You can call this number 24-hours a day for urgent / high priority assistance.
Tree pruning requests
The City inspects and, if required, prunes street trees once a year.
If you are requesting additional pruning, please state the reason via a request below, for example, for driveway, height or property line clearance, or for damaged trees or limbs.
The City does not reduce the height of trees, unless they are under powerlines.
Pruning will not be undertaken to reduce shading of gardens or solar panel, improve television reception or to provide or improve views.
Tree status
If the tree is found to be significant, pruning works may take longer.
