Applications

Rebates are available to eligible applicants in the City of South Perth to improve their home safety and security, as part of the City's Home Safety and Security Equipment Rebate Program.
Each eligible applicant can make a claim towards the purchase and installation of security equipment at their home, including products such as alarms, deadlocks, window locks, security doors and screens, sensor lights and CCTV.

State Government Program

The City's Home Safety Rebate Program is aimed to complement (not duplicate) the State Government's Safety and Security Rebate Program.

Before you begin

Prior to commencing the application via the link below, ensure you have an electronic copy (eg scan) of the following documentation:
  • A clear copy of concession card (e.g. Pensioner, Health Care) if claiming the $300 rebate.
  • A clear copy of proof of payment (only receipts within the current financial year are valid).
  • A clear copy of the invoice (if applicable).
  • Photos of proof of installation (in jpeg format).
  • A clear copy of the top of your current bank statement (within the last six months).
You will be required to attach this information during the application process.

Post lodgement process

Once your application is lodged, the following steps will apply:
  • The City will review each application in line with the program's terms and conditions.
  • Upon approval, the application will be sent to the City's Finance Department for the payment to be processed.
  • Funds will be transferred electronically into the applicant's nominated bank account within two to three weeks after lodgement.
  • An email will be sent advising that payment has been made.
