New footpath, shared path or cycle path

The City will respond to requests for new footpaths, shared paths and cycle paths. We will also respond to:
  • Requests for new footpath connections where there is no footpath available. This will be assessed against the City's Capital Works Program
  • Reports of technical faults such as lack of visibility
  • Reports of safety issues such as pedestrian conflicts
  • Reports of cracks or trip hazards

Raise a Request

  • To request a new pathway, raise the correct request type below
  • An officer will investigate within 10 working days.
