Parking provisions
In areas where there is insufficient parking available to meet the needs of the adjacent land use such as at schools and commercial areas, it may be necessary for the City to consider additional parking within the road reserve.
Parking restrictions
- Parking restrictions are usually imposed in situations such as, but is not limited to, where parking options are limited or where parking conflicts with vehicular or pedestrian movement.
- Parking restrictions may either prevent parking along a section of a street or restrict parking to certain times.
- Parking restrictions are usually designated by signs but pavement marking may be used.

School parking
If you have concerns regarding parking inside a school property, please contact that school. Should the school wish to request additional parking within a road reserve, then they can raise a request below.
