Trading in public places
You must obtain City approval to busk or trade in public places across the City. This includes car parks, parks and reserve areas and any other Council owned or managed land.
This application is for trading:
- temporarily as a non-food stall/non-food business/busking
- at South Perth StrEATS, after you have obtained approval from the organiser.

Before you begin
Prior to commencing the application via the link below, ensure you have an electronic copy (eg scan) of the following documentation prior to completing the application process:
- Public liability insurance (minimum $20 million coverage)
- Site plan indicating trading location.
If you are a charity/not-for-profit organisation
If you are selling food
You will be required to attach this information during the application process.
Lodgement guidance
Post lodgement process
Once your application is lodged, the following steps will apply:
- Review and assess information, including requesting further information if required
- The application can take up to 10 business days for a decision.
Event inspections
Random inspections may occur during the event.
